A motor home size asteroid nearly slammed into Earth on the night of the 1st of June! But it wouldn’t have done much even if it did. The asteroid would have burned up during entry because of the Earth atmosphere. Mars doesn’t have much of an atmosphere, so it would have done more damage on Mars.
